Hi all, my name is Nick March, I'm from Mont-de-Marsan in France. I "collect" in a small way, and enjoy riding most of what I have.

I have nothing to do with some character called Nick Bordo who I am told held controversial views here some time back.

For my first post to the list, I'd like to show an old hack I've turned into an everyday ride. I consider it to be a vintage/classic machine in most respects, although I'll admit not everybody would want that particular bike. But if you are truly "classic", you need an every day "oldie" ride you can just hop on to, attach to a railing with a standard bike chain etc and go about your business. I have other stuff I wouldn't dare let out of my sight for a second, or take out in the rain. This particular bike is truly fun to ride, and surprisingly efficient, both in terms of moving and stopping. It is also comfortable, very. It has no saddle bag, I transport my shopping or whatever on my back in a "classic" manner with an unduly heavy and large canvas and leather backpack.
