TA did indeed make track rings for the small 5 bolt pattern. My 62 Paramount daily driver has a 23T inch pitch TA ring on Stonglight arm (remember, TA made rings for other cranks before they made cranks, so this combo was common), and my 48 R O Harrison has a TA crank with professional adapter and a 24T inch pitch ring. Here is a wrong-side pic of the Paramount.

And here is a Freddie Grubb we restored for Nelson Miller a couple years ago, with TA track crank set up on a fixed three speed.

My old Rudge around-town bike has a TA crank with a 36T tandem timing ring powering a 14-32 freewheel. Makes a great setup if you don't need to go faster than 15 mph. and would work nicely as a fixie with a 12-13T cog perhaps. Gives me an idea for the start of a superlight track bike...
