By jove, I think he's got it!

Although it's worth recalling that my original post marvelling at the $3500 winning bid was just that... marvelling that a humble PX-10 could snipe at the heels of a Masi or Colnago in the panatheon of "you spent what on that old bike?" rather than suggest it, or anyother bike, is "worth" that much. You spend it, it's worth it. It's as simple as that.

Anyway, I'm off in my checkerboard jersey and cap to ride my sloppily brazed PX-10 with the plastic parts on this lovely day.
