While we are somewhat behind schedule on several aspects of Cirque plans, response to the '08 event has been quite surprising and encouraging. The event hotel, Best Western Leesburg, has less than 20 rooms left of the 75 that were set aside for us (the max the hotel would commit). If those 75 (of 99 at the hotel) are booked and there are still rooms available, they can be reserved, but the hotel has already taken some non-cirque reservations as well. If you are considering attending, and have not booked a room, I strongly encourage you to do so ASAP. Even if you have to cancel later, it's probably best to book a room now.
I hope to have more Cirque news very soon, and will try to get an update out and registration open, but wanted to alert everyone about the hotel situation. Info below:
