SA AW Wheel set is sold.

Thank you all once again,

John T.Pergolizzi La Jolla, Ca.

Dear List,

For all a youse Anglophiles, I have a pair of wheels for sale:

REAR: Sturmey Archer hubed rear wheel: Alloy bodied "AW" internal three speed hub with a 3 speed 16, 19, 23 freewheel. Hub is dated "55" (as in 1955), is a 40 hole and is laced to a Super Champion "Competition" clincher alloy rim using double butted 14/15 gauge stainless steel Radelli spokes in a cross three pattern. Tire is a Michelin "Club-Tourist" "made in England" "28 x 630" "27 x 1 1/8" in good condition with a presta valve tube.

FRONT: Campagnolo High Flange TRACK (no hole or oiler clip), 36 hole, 14/15 straight gauge stainless steel spokes, laced in a cross three pattern, the same Super Champion rim and Michelin tire. Hub is very shinny and comes with the correct Campagnolo nuts. Excellent condition; next to no wear on the rim, really only black brake pad marks.

These wheels came from Aladdin's Cave and are round and true and tensioned nicely. The rear hub is in very nice shape visually. I have not ridden the wheel, so I cannot vouch for her internals. There is no trigger mechanism or indicator pull chain.

If you can use them and $235.00 for the pair is way outta wack, please make me an offer as this SA stuff just ain't my gig and they need a good home and want to get back on the road. Shipping is at actual cost via UPS or Fed-Ex Ground.

I had offered the rear on her own a couple of weeks ago, but then found this front in the pile and realized they must have been built as a pair. I think these would be PERFECT for a nice path racer. Hey, who did I sell that Bates cantiflex to last year?

Thank youse again one and all,

John T.Pergolizzi
