The saddle is an Ideale No. 80 "Criterium" (swallow). I had one of these that went to Japan. It's very close to No. 89 "Speciale Competiton" (swollow). But the "Speciale" swallow cut goes right up to the nose rivets, without the slight flat as the # 80. I think the #89 also comes down more around the sides of cantle plate. They are both very comfortable rides. Thanks for the trip down memory lane.
