I have tried to get my SLJ 5500 to work with my triple, but it just won't d o. I bought the thing NOS and just finished restoring the bike it went on, so the derailleur has no wear on it.
If anyone has a long cage Simplex they would like to trade for it, that wou ld be great. Or, I would be happy to buy it.
