Subject: [CR]50 tooth 110 chainring sugino ta and a big thankyou

Thank so many of you for answering so many questions about options ifor changing from my awkward 144 bcc SR crankset to gear down. And about this crankt fitting my NR/SR bb (i am conviced it will)

Ultimately to avoid awkward drilling or ring adapters or need to change the bb i went with the NOS Sugino Mighty Tour chainset which i just bought from a listmember ( currently 52/34 and neither ring ramped and pinned). definitely period correct and looks it.

I will change the current 52 T outer ring to a 50T ramped and pinned

3 Easy Questions:

1. is the modern Specilaized 50 T 110bcc the same as the Sugino 50"T 110? Are both ramped and pinned? ( i know Sugino made some cranks for specialized)

2. Is there any point in seeking out the TA 50T 110 even though the rest of the crank is a Sugino ( are the TA really substantially better or more durable ,etc)

3. Any other other ramped and pinned 50 T 110 rings worth looking for to mount on this crank?
