Subject: [CR]BB Questions

Anyone have a list of what Phil Wood BB's are the best fit for the most common classic cranks? I've usually done this by trial and error, or by checking the Phil BB on another bike with the same crankset, but this is a pain, as it usually involves removing crankarms at the minimum.

I know that most classic cranks take a Phil BB which is offset rather than symmetrical, but has anyone complied a list of the specific Phil BB's recommended for the major classic cranks, i.e.:

Campy NR/SR double Campy NR triple Various Campy GS doubles and triples Ofmega/Avocet double and triple. Stronglight double and triple TA Cyclotourist double and triple TA Professional 3-arm double and triple Zeus Competition/Criterium/2000 double Mavic double Early Dura-Ace double Early Deore double and triple SunTour Superbe and Superbe Pro double

And a completely different BB question. I was recently outbid for a Gnutti NOS English-threaded cottered BB. Can one mix different brands/nationalities of cottered crankarms with BB's or should one match cranks to the same brand BB, or at least the same nationality? I know different nations use different cotter pin sizes, but does this mean, for example, that the Gnutti BB would have to be used with Italian crankarns, and would not work with, for example, Williams or Stronglight crankarms?
