PX-10 pump options

If you prefer a seat tube mounted pump, you might search eBay for an AVA umbrella clip. If money is no object, the nicest pump for this is the Ad-Hoc "Racer" with the high pressure nozzle built in. But the Japanese have an absolute mania for Ad-Hocs so expect to pay $50-75 easy for one, double if there's bidding war. This is what I have set up on my Gilles Berthoud which I posted pix of yesterday. Or, you can do what Tommy Simp son preferred on his PX-10: a Britannia white plastic pump OR a Silca, both using the same umbrella clip. Ad-Hocs are much nicer looking, though!

Cheaper and far more plentiful are Ventolux pumps but these are usually se t up for mounting to the underside of the top tube with conventional pump clips (there are some on eBay now for French bikes). This was how most stock PX-10s came with c. 1970-75. Prior to 1970, the pump was mounted on the downtube.
