I'm not sure if it's helpful, but I stumbled into a solution that has worked fine for me.

I have a 10" deep plastic carrying case for suspended (Pendaflex) folders. Has a decent carrying handle. The folders are full of chainrings, which seem to weigh less than the papers did in its past incarnation. I just sort by type (144, 151...BCD) but you could use a file folder per ring to keep down the shopworn look.

Great for home storage, and easy to carry to swap meets, too.

your mileage may vary harvey sachs mcLean va.

I'm looking for one of those fold-open folder/cases that track riders use to organize their chainrings and cogs. None on ebay now. Anybody have one? Email me off-list, pls.
