Hi Steve,
I have a of pieces of info. When I was in Japan, in mid 60', Japanese part s maker was very hard in thier works to catch up with European manufacturers.
The Yoshigai Kinzoku Company, (Ysohigai Metal Works), who later made DIA-COM P
was buying (or working together) some kind of permission to mold same shape brake calipers (side-pull as well as center). Then, all parts were idntical.
I have a special brake caliper adjusting tool/wrench (2-pieces) saying DIA-WEINMANN on them.
I have seen Made in Switzerland staping as well as Belgim, but not Made in Japan though.
