Maybe, maybe not.... let's consider that 4 out of 5 cyclists obey the rules of the road, that makes 80% riding with traffic and 20% riding against. If the 20% riding against traffic have a 8% chance of being involved in an ac cident that really translates to a 40% chance for being involved in an acci dent for riding on the wrong side of the road vs. about 10% for riding with traffic. Sorry if the last post was to be humorous, if it was it went over my head! These stastistics are of course for riding a vintage lightweight bike, just to keep things on topic.
