Use Damar varnish from your art supply store or on line. Its a cheaper substitute for Copal varnish and is used to varnish oil paintings. Art Link,San Antonio,TX,USA

I have a 60s era frame and the original decals (water transfer) have lift ed in a couple of area. To fix the decal, should I varnish the pieces tha t have come off and carefully replace them? Also what should I put on top of the decals for protection?

If it is varnish I need, where do I find it? Home Depot?

Thanks,

Scott Edrington San Diego CA
