Too many years ago and too many drugs in-between. Victor Vincente, as other CR listers corrected, won the 1960 Tour of Sumerville. I also road with him a year earlier in the Tour of St. Laurne, which he won. If time is not confusing me, Art Lonsjo also road in that race. Victor Vincente was a phenom of a bike way before his time. With the right incouragement, VVA probably would have been another Lemond or Armstrong.

Michael Allison, tripping down memory lane in New York, NY

In the early 1960s, I raced against a guy named Michael Hiltner from PEDALI ALPINI. An awesome rider, I think, from Palo Alto, CA. His big gear, low, stretched-out style (read long extension) of riding was a revelation to me and my mates. I recall he won Somerville in 1963 (??) Race historians-?? He simply rode away from everyone. Somewhere along, he changed his name to Victorio Victoria, grew a big beard and generally became a recluse.
