Subject: [CR]Removing tape that has been on a long time

Harry,

I find that it is best done by scoring the tape , but not going through it to damage the surface below and then using something like Goo-Gone or other solvent (Use great caution if the tape is on paint.test an out of site first) and just apply it and let it work. May take several applications and if the tape has an adhesive with acid in it, the surface below may well be damaged no matter what you do. All you can do is try in these situations.success is not guaranteed.
