Personally, I disagree (as far as his personality is concerned: I reserve judgment on the quality of posts, for fear that someone will judge mine!). Nick was nothing but friendly with me, and has helped me out on occasion. I think that if we are going to have people on the list who live in different countries/cultures, we may have to adjust some of our expectations with regards to writing style and demeanor.
He is no longer on the list, and I think it might be best if everyone keep their comments to themselves, as he isn't here to read them and defend himself.
