Subject: [CR]Damaged Witcomb on E-Bay: The seller's reply

"Dear Tom,

unfortunately yes there is a dimple behind the head lug. My client did not inform me of any damage done to the bike before the listing. If I had known that this meant the bike had been damaged I would never have listed it in the first place. However, there is a dimple on both the top and bottom tube in identical places so I assumed it was made that way and not caused by a collision since the front rim, fork, and handlebars look fine.

Thank you for your time and interest. I'm sorry we couldn't help you."
