I've had this headset in my toolbox for awhile and thought it was Gran Sport. But I was under the impression that Gran Sport used a 5/32 bearing and had a lower stack height than Nuovo Record. But this set was being used with 3/16th bearings (which look like a correct fit) and the stack height is the same as a Nuovo Record.

The top nut is marked "Campagnolo Patent Italy" on top and "Made in Italy" and "25.4 x 24F Italiana" on the underside. There's lettering on the inside of the top race nut which reads, "Made in Italy" and "25.4 x 24F Italiana". There's no lettering on any of the other pieces.

I'm building up a 1980 Bianchi Rekord 748 which is an entry level race bike. I was thinking this would be a good match if the age was close.

Any thoughts on that would be appreciated.
