In my first numbered paragraph, below, see the caps for what I should have written:

1) I am wondering if the small script which appears on the top tube (near the head tube) stating "NEW ALLROUNDER MODEL" and similar monikers on various other '50s Clauds would have appeared on a '52 in the guise of "NEW ALLROUNDER MODEL." [<As Peter Brueggeman correctly pointed out, that the model by then was the "NEW" version of the Allrounder.] Therefore, if such a transfer was used by Claud on the '52s, its absence in the auction bike is an omission in the refinishing.

Sorry for any confusion.
