Subject: [CR]FS or trade: Jack Taylor Marathon tandem frame with wheels

The perfect winter project has arrived!

It kills me to sell this frame, as it's very nice, but it just doesn't fit us (stoker section isn't tall enough), so off it goes.

I'd be very interested in a trade for a taylor tandem touring frame 55cm c-t square, or close to it. If you have something along these lines, let me know and we can talk.

Otherwise, price is $695 shipped in the lower 48. I would much prefer to sell this frame locally. Locals get $150 off, or a price of $545. Local means you pick it up. If you're not local, but you can pick it up, discount applies.

I will ship it if I have to, though, I'd just prefer not to as it takes quite a bit of time and hassle.

I will also consider offers.

I will be holding all inquiries about this frame until everyone has had a chance to see it. Then I'll decide which deal makes the most sense. If you're interested, e-mail me privately, and I will contact you sometime this weekend.

Pictures of the frame, with measurements, are here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/21078245@N03/sets/72157603506563602/

Detailed measurements are listed there also. stoker is 50cm c-t; capt. is 56.5cm c-t. I'd give the finish a 7-8 out of 10. It's quite clean for the most part. there is some light corrosion under the paint on the center tube, a few other small spots of light corrosion here and there. Overall, though? Very nice, as shown. Frame appears straight and true. Graphics, in particular, are near-perfect, which is not often seen on these as the graphics tended to deteriorate in the sun.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

Thanks.
