Very nice. I noticed, with some surprise which reveals my ignorance, the zerk or grease gun fittings on the BB and head tube. I don't recall seein g that before and haven't owned any bikes that had them. And that's going back to at least early 60s and a black Raleigh 3-speed. (I learned to ri de on it - Dad lined me up headed down hill and shoved. I'd figured out t he basics by the time I got to the sandy spot at the circle at the bottom of our hill. Unfortunately, sand was more advanced that I was...)

So, were grease fittings 1) more UK specific, 2) Raleigh?, 3) early desig ns that didn't carry through to my experiences in the 60s?, 4) simply mor e common than I realized, especially on earlier bikes?
