OK, so having actually acquired some 30 hole rims, how do I spoke these? The photos on the CR site show a rear wheel with radial spoking on the non-drive side and a sort of crows foot pattern on the drive side. I think that bike also has 28 hole front wheels, but the pair of hubs I just bought seems to be 30 hole front as well as rear.

I've never really studied the theory of wheel lacing. Most rims, of course, have a number of holes that is a multiple of 4, i.e. 24, 28, 32, 36, 40. Is it inherently necessary to have a multiple of 4 to lace with the "standard" patterns like 2x, 3x, 4x? What are the options for spoking a 30 hole rim?

I know that these were laced to special 30 hole rims using a rather convoluted spoking pattern. Someone posted photos of such wheels a while back. Anyone by chance have any of the 30 hole rims for sale?
