There are 30 holes on each side of the rear hub, with every other one skipped. So these are double drilled like some specially drilled Campy hubs used on Paramounts for a couple of years. I think one of the captions does say that the front wheel is 28 spokes. The hubs I just bought are different - 30 holes front and rear with no double drilling on the rear.

Every other spoke hole has been skipped on the rear hub, or is that Drillium? If it is Drillium, why not drill the front hub also?

The main page caption reads:

"... his wheels are "Diamond Jewel" models built by master wheel builder HR Borthavre, using Super Champion Medaille d'Or rims, 28 hole in front and 30 hole on rear (!) The wheels weigh in at 520 grams for front, 720 grams for the rear!"
