I have an account with them, and recently shipped two large parcels to Australia with them for a very modest price (about $250 or so). I have not yet shipped a bicycle with them, but their customer support seems to be outstanding. You do need to be a commercial user, though, to set up an account with them."

I've used BAX to ship complete bikes to Japan three times now. Service was excellent and no damage. No tight carton size limits either, so full size bike boxes can be used. A complete bike was running about $225 to Japan last time I shipped but I think it has gone up with fuel costs lately. Figure $250-$300 for most of Asia and Europe, Australia is still considerably higher.

I've also used them to ship huge 1950's era HiFi speakers to Japan and Hong Kong without issue.
