Folks,
I'm doing a bit of winter maintenance including putting new clinchers on my GIOS Torino. I must be the worst tire mounter in the world because I always seem to ruin at least 2 new tubes for every tire I mount, I always seem to pinch flat the tube between the tire bead and the rim when pushing the last bit of the tire over the rim. This is too costly on my meagre budget, so I am seriously thinking of switching to TUFO Tubular Clinchers. Has anyone had experience with these, are they easier to mount than clinchers and tubes? Is the ride comparable to clinchers? How well do they wear?
