What on-topic stuff is still in production ?? We should do a yearly survey on this subject. It turns out that not everybody knows that some stuff is still being made, and the longer something lasts in production, the more useful it is to have for your parts stash because it is "period correct" for such a wide range of bikes.

Here are some thoughts :

MKS Sylvan Road, Track Pedals - Silver Black? (or does bensbike of WI have a NOS stash?) MKS Red toe straps MKS Steel Toe Clips MKS AR2 pedal (= ~ suntour cyclone 1983?)

Kalloy Laprade Seatpost(?)

Nitto Olympiade Bars Nitto Pearl Stem (?)

Shimano Freewheels Shimano Friction D/A Barcons (? has look changed since 1983 ?)

Dia Compe 750 Centerpulls ( === BACK IN STYLE === RIVENDELL === )

Phil Wood everything Chris King Threaded headsets

Velox (Tressostar) Tape Velox Black Bar Plugs Velox Rim Tape

TA Cyclotouriste Cranksets & Rings (January 'one-last-time' reissuance) TA Competition 144bcd Chainrings ? (as found on TA Tevano Cranks?) TA Pedals

Reynolds 531 Tubesets (special order) Reynolds 753 Tubesets (special order) Columbus SP/SPX Tubesets (special order)

Brooks full line of saddles ~ only Brooks Regular Pro is gone

DT Spokes

Panaracer Pasela Tires (?)

==== Some interesting conclusions ====

- it's almost possible to part up a bicycle today with stuff that has been made since 1982. However, the bike would have

- no rims - no lugs - no brake levers - no derailleurs
