This is a repost of the Speedwell path racer Alan was offering to the list yesterday:

This frame was restored with meticulous hand painting. Probably late 40's by the lug style. Built up with Stronglight cottered cranks, Mafac Raid ( super long-reach) brakes with Universal levers, Cinelli track bars, modern flip flop rear hub and rims (27" rims) built wheels and leather covered bars. French threading so Pivo stem ( I do have a Caminargent which I can throw in). This hand-painted Australian restoration is a dying ( dead) art, and the level of hand-done artwork will not be seen again. Fully set up, $1550. plus non-negotiable packing fee of $50.
