Peter, yes, you're right. This saddle illustrated is almost certainly one of the recent 'Diagonal' replicas ('92D' and 'French Design' stamped on side, and no Ideale nameplate at rear - only embossing), which are available in quantity from Germany elsewhere on eBay for less than 20euro each (plus postage). Not bad saddles, in my opinion, but not the 'real deal' ('antik-look', only!). Tony Colegrave, Northiam, United(?) Kingdom.
