I've got a white leather covered 3ttt bar with four small areas of wear from normal use, above and below the hoods, very slightly exposing the underlying, darker leather. The areas are small not more than 2 x 1 cm. They are not tears or erosions.
Question: How can these areas be best restored? My immediate thought was white shoe polish, but, I thought it prudent to ask for other opinions before making the matter worse.
