Picked up a nice DON FARRELL bike, size 62cm ctt, yesterday at Trexlertown (wish it was smaller!!!).

Unfortunate faded paint, but its in great structural condition and the chrome stay/fork ends are in excellent condition. Cool fastback stays and sloping fork crown, drilled long point lugs, Campy vertical rear DOs. Frame made specifically for bar end shifters since it has braze on DT cable stops. Understand that in addition to Don Farrell, both Stan Pike and Wally Farmer had a part in building some of the Farrell frames.

Estimated age is late 60s to early 70s due to PATENT "no date" rear derail and cable stop front. I also like the white rubbers on the Campy barcons!!! Also included with the bike were the original DON FARRELL labeled AVA tubular rims (have a set of these rims on my Condor Path).

Took some quick photos of the bike as purchased (i.e., no clean-up) and posted to Wool Jersey. Here's the link if you are interested in viewing:

If anyone can provide more information on this bike, I would greatly appreciate it! It was great seeing many of the CR listmembers at this event!!!
