Rivaux de la Piste

Still image from the French version of "Rivaux de la Pista", a.k.a "Strich durch die Rechnung", serialized for the magazine "l'Intran Match" in 1933. Here we see the entraineur Wagmuller (played by Pierre Labry) interdicting between stayer Willy Streblow (right, played by Albert Préjean) and Gina Stern (played by Suzet Maïs) inside Willy's track-side cabin. I haven't been able to find enough information yet about this 1932 movie, but according to IMDb it was filmed by U.F.A. in two languages (French and German) with two different casts.

I really hope a print of one of these films survives - in the USA it was title "Spoiling the Game", and the international English title was "The Upset Plan".

Albert Préjean starred opposite Josephine Baker in 1935's "Princesse Tam Tam".
