Jerry,
I have four Team Pro's (1977 to 1981), all with 26.8 seat post diameters. I believe that the early 753 that Raleigh used was metric but came in two wall thicknesses. I believe the two designations were 801 and 803, 803 required a 26.8 post and 801 required a 27.0 post. Two of my early ones have the French RGF bottom bracket. The 1981 has a Cinelli BB. Also, I'm not sure what 753 tubing Raleigh used post-1981, metric or English. I'm sure Mike Mullet could answer our questions. And John, what's the serial number?
