The Bicycling magazine has been on my desk since Cirque 2007,as a reminder to bring it to the CR list's attention, but I stumbled across the in depth photo essay, while doing some research on pedals,on the Speedplay "virtual pedal museum" website, that's a whole 'nother story. The online article and photo "essay" really tell a story, beyond words! If you have time zoom in on the 2500 Pixel gallery, when viewing! Yours truly, Marty Walsh in Vienna,Virginia,U.S.A.
If you had attended Chuck Schmidt's Velo-Rendezvous last October, you would have seen the first public showing of Bryne's Masis. You guys really should come out here for Chuck's party. You just never know what might show up. And the rides are first-rate.
Also note that there are now a number of older Masi Specials out here in Southern California... two or three or more are as old or older than Richard's.. and at least one of them gets ridden.. the others still in various stages of restoration. Not mine, I might add. At least, not all of them..<g>
