Wow, even if you don't like Speedplay, their site has an amazing gallery of pedals going back to the 19th Century. And as usual, we find nothing is really new in cycling. The "Spindless" design of the Dynadrive pedal was predated by Hi-E, by Daudon circa 1950, and by an American pedal in 1898.
