According to his site, they're near Flint, which is about an hour north of Detroit. The two shops I use most are D&D in Berkley and Olympic Schwinn in Oak Park. D&D is 1/2 mile from my house, but they deal mostly in new stuff, occasionally a mechanic there will say "That's too old, we don't have the tools for that." Olympic Schwinn deals in mostly new stuff too, but the mechanic loves old steel. In fact, we had a long discussion about the Mark Nobilette frame I just sold, just to keep this on topic. He and the owner both recognized the name.
