IIRC, they were the pads on the NEW Campagnolo products that contributed to the damage? toCampagnolo's reputation starting in the early 1980s; Victory, Triomph, Croce D'Aune, Synchro, rusting internals on Deltas, first edition C-Record, stupid MTB stuff, etc., etc., etc.

Fair or not, this range of mediocre design started Campy down the slippery slope, only to be resurrected much later..

Don't expect a good price for those brakes pads at any swap meet with knowledgeable attendees....

Just another excellent reason to set the CR cutoff at 1963 in perpetuity.?

I recently acquired some gray colored Campagnolo Brake Pads. Does anyone have any information on these. Where they intended for ceramic rims? They fit and look very much like the Nuovo Record type excepting the color and the have 2 vertical grooves instead of three. Thanks

A guy at my lbs says they don't work as well as the black, but i find them perfectly ok and they fit just right in the brake pad holder. i don't know what the intended use was for these.
