It's the aftermath of the Good Glow. Load 3 of my bikes, two of Ken's, and 2 of Larry Black's into the van, together with all the other detritus and gems acquired or not sold. Drive 5.5 hr for 290 mi to get to my house, but at least we found a hole-in-the-wall Barbeque shop, 5 minutes before closing. Ken had more miles to drive from my house, which means transferring his stuff (only found one bag he left behind, and it has nice stuff). :-) . And unloading mine. And sorting stuff, which will take a bunch of time tonight.

Yes, it is worth it, and thank you all for everything. Dale, you've grown it well, and it is a tall responsibility Wayne and MJ are undertaking. We'll help, those of us who call NoVa our home.

Now I'll ride off to work, thinking about the "kit" that the new-to-me Ephgrave frameset wants to wear. Do I really have to use 27" wheels? Maybe I'll just use sprints...If there is a 40 in the stash for the proper Sturmey hub. ASC 3-speed fixed? or AM 4-speed? Or a handsome little Harden low-flange fixed/fw that's been lurking in the bin for 25 years now?

And next year, maybe I'll practice the manual of arms for the M2 Frame and Fork, before executing in public at the auction... Nah. Wouldn't fit the mood.
