I have a NOS Gios frame and fork. Obviously the thread is Italian. However I have a choice of various iterations of Record, Super Record and later Campy headsets. I probably will use an off topic Victory type towering locknut type headset because it is appropriate for a late 80's bike. The head tube measures 145 mm from top to bottom where the headset parts would rest. The fork is 182 mm from top of fork crown to top of threads. In the past I just winged it but some of these headsets are pretty costly so I might need a formula to narrow things down. What's the formula?
