Subject: [CR]More on Raleigh Headsets

Since my posting a couple of days ago about wrenches to fit the HS on a Raleigh Competition, the consensus seems to be this is probably Brampton rather TDC. Nonetheless, the required wrenches are definitely not metric. Some have suggested a tool from a Raleigh 3-speed toolkit might fit the locknut, but I haven't had any firm suggestion about the adjustable cup. Several people report using adjustable wrenches on these HS's, though no one really likes doing this.

Closer inspection shows the locknut is between 30 and 32mm, so approximately 31 mm, while the adjustable cup is just too large for a 40mm wrench, so approximately 41mm. Anyone know what English or Whitworth wrenches would be about equal to 31 and 41mm, and where to buy such beasts?
