I have the bike here by the computer and I can't see a detail on this bike that is not superb and of the top level. As nice or better than any Italian bike of the time.

And the Anquetil hour record bike is even better.

So what you can say is that Carre was capable of the very best in his early bikes, whereas the later bikes are of uneven quality to say the least...
