ATTENTION ALL LIST MEMBERS!!!!!!!!:

It's once again time for the of monthly meeting of the Brooklyn Velodrome Vintage Wheelmen West. After all, this IS the West Coast version!

The BVVW group is comprised of about 25 hardcore certified freaks, who will hangout and talk bike stuff for about 2 hours. The BVVWW is a tangent of Gruppo Sportivo Pergolizzi.

The meeting will take place on Saturday, July 7, 2007; at 5:30p.m.

This will be an informal gathering of all Southern California area cyclists who share an interest in vintage bicycles and cycling history. We will talk the old talk (1930 to 1980) of cycling, our heroes, and their bicycles and parts. As always, youse is all invited. But this time we'll do something a bit different!

At 5:30 p.m. we'll all meet at

Vincenzo Ristorante Italiano

1702 India St

San Diego, CA 92101

(619) 702-6181

Take a look:

Owner Vincenzo Zizzo takes good care of us upfront while his son Anthony works the kitchen. AND he makes home made limoncello! This joint has terrific food and we'll dine from 5:30 to about 7:30. Afterwards, those who bring their bikes, will go out for a leisurely ride around little Italy and downtown San Diego for about an hour. It's all flat, so it will be fixed gear friendly.

Bring a headlight and a tail light so you will be scene.

This is a wife and girlfriend friendly event, so lets be couples. Saturday night in Little Italy is about as close to Colorado Blvd. in Pasadena as San Diego comes. You'll like it.

After the ride, we'll go to the café next door; expect to drink coffee with Sambuca into the wee hours.

Please RSVP via e-mail to me ASAP so I can make reservations.

Make every effort to come on down, over, up, whatever.

No special passwords, handshakes or badges, just get there and have fun!
