Subject: [CR]A FEW MORE VINTAGE PARTS FOR SALE

Once again, I am offering a few (...hopefully) interesting items to the CR list in advance of posting them for sale on eBay (...you are encouraged to check my feedback in that other forum under the seller id name "57103"). Please correspond directly through my public email address of rsb000(AT)hotmail.com. All inquiries will be handled on a first come, first served basis. If you have any question as to whether an item is still available for sale, PLEASE CHECK FIRST WITH THE FOLLOWING WOOL JERSEY LINK (http://tinyurl.com/2mpvwq) as I will be marking items "SALE PENDING" when someone agrees to their purchase and then mark them as "SOLD" upon actual receipt of payment.

All prices quoted herein do not include shipping and/or insurance which will be done at cost. I would be happy to aggregate shipping expenses on multiple items destined for the same physical mailing address where practicable. I accept payment by PayPal, BidPay, cashier's check, money order, or well concealed cash (...mailed at your own risk). Your satisfaction is guaranteed to the extent that you are welcome to return all or part of any purchase for a full refund of monies not to include shipping and/or insurance provided that said merchandise is returned to me in a reasonably timely fashion and that it is in substantially the same condition as when I first sent it out to you (...please let me know in advance of your intentions should this prove to be the case).

HEADSET:

Campagnolo Record - threaded headset - 25.4 mm (24 TPI) English thread - chrome plated steel - post 1967 flattened hex top nut - pre 1970 with channel inset marked "BREV. CAMPAGNOLO ITALY BREV. CAMPAGNOLO ITALY" on upper cup and "BREV. CAMPAGNOLO ITALY BREV. CAMPAGNOLO ITALY" on lower cup - model 1039 ... [Very lightly used with NOS keyed lock washer (682) and more importantly an NOS lower head race (685) which is otherwise the one piece most prone to wear - assuming that you do not "mark it up" upon installation, this headset will look every bit as good as an NOS piece upon installation] - $90.00

STEM:

3ttt Record - aluminum alloy - 22.2 mm quill - 26.0 mm Italian size clamp - 120 mm length - single bolt non-quick release - early 1980's logo marking with stylized "3" adjacent to "ttt" encapsulated within an oval - model Record 1A style ... [NOS / NIP] - $30.00

BOTTOM BRACKET:

O.M.A.S. Acciaio - traditional non-cartridge adjustable type BB for 68 mm shell - steel spindle - square taper - 68 x 112 mm with 3 mm drive side asymmetrical offset - annular sealed bearings - 1.370” x 24 TPI English thread aluminum alloy cups (non-drive side - right threading / drive side - left threading) - aluminum lock rings - "accordion" style plastic dust sleeve - 15 mm steel crank bolts / washers - model 132 "Big Sliding" Strada (68-S-120) ... [NOS / NIB - similar to a Phil Wood unit in that the cups on both sides are adjustable meaning that one can fine tune their chain line - spindle sizing apropos a pre 1977/1978 non C.P.S.C. compliant Campy crankset or any number of clones thereof] - $40.00

GP titanium alloy crank bolts - 8 mm Allen key release - integrated washers - M8 1.25 x 25 mm SHCS … [NOS - quantity 2 pair] - $15.00 per pair

CHAIN RINGS:

Stronglight 93 - 122 mm BCD - 53 tooth alloy chain ring - post 1973 “flat-top” tooth profile - threaded for chain “roll off” pin ... [NOS / NIP] - $20.00

Stronglight 93 - 122 mm BCD - 52 tooth alloy chain ring - pre 1973 “pointy” tooth profile - threaded for chain “roll off” pin ... [Very lightly used - removed from an unsold "old stock" floor bike way back when] - $10.00

Stronglight 105 bis - 122 mm BCD - 52 tooth "drilled" alloy chain ring - post 1973 “flat-top” tooth profile - threaded for chain "roll off" pin / 42 tooth "drilled" alloy chain ring - post 1973 “flat-top” tooth profile ... [Very moderate use - sold only as a matched pair - I probably put 500 to 600 miles total on these, with most of that occurring on the big ring - no nicks, gouges, or scratches, just honest wear on the teeth themselves - the 42 ring is as good as you will likely find in a used version] - $40.00 for the pair

CHAIN:

KMC - "Missing Link" reusable quick connect / disconnect master link - Black - suitable for use with 7.3 mm wide chains … [quantity 4 - NEW - a handy device for those vintage bikes with vintage narrow style 6, 7, or 8 speed chains that you actually ride with some degree of regularity] - FREE to the first persons who ask (...in conjunction with purchase of anything else from this list - limit one per person, please)

SPOKES:

Robergel "Trois Etoiles" or "Three Stars" spokes - double butted stainless steel - 302 mm in length - includes matching Robergel chrome plated brass nipples - two partial boxes totaling 144 spokes and 115 nipples … [NOS] - $35.00 for the lot

SHIFT LEVERS:

Huret - control levers - down tube mount to braze-on boss - "open hoop" alloy levers - conical style cover plates with "D" ring adjuster - model 1014 ... [NOS - while esthetically pleasing, these babies are veritable boat anchors - perhaps best used as either fishing weights or paper weights] - FREE to the first person who asks (...in conjunction with purchase of anything else from this list)

REAR DERAILLEUR PULLEY WHEELS:

Bullseye - pulley wheels - Red anodized aluminum alloy - ten tooth design - NMB 6260 sealed cartridge bearings - width adjustable spacers ... [quantity 1 pair - NOS / NIP - the "original" and some would argue "only" color for Bullseye pulley wheels] - $40.00 per pair

Bullseye - pulley wheels - Black anodized aluminum alloy - ten tooth design - NMB 6260 sealed cartridge bearings - width adjustable spacers ... [quantity 1 pair - NOS / NIP - arguably the most "conservative" color as it will match nearly everything] - $40.00 per pair

Bullseye - pulley wheels - Silver/Gray anodized aluminum alloy - ten tooth design - NMB 6260 sealed cartridge bearings - width adjustable spacers ... [quantity 1 pair - NOS / NIP - my vote for the most practical "color" since it does not tend to show "wear" over time as do the other hues] - $35.00 per pair

SADDLE:

3ttt Competizione Superleggero - nylon plastic (Rislan or Nylon-11, a trademark product of the Rislan Corporation) shell - microcellular open pore foam padding - early Black finish seal skin cover - alloy frame rails - model # 30 Superleggero ... [Well used - there's lots of mileage on this baby, but there's a lot more life left in it too - genuine seal skin cover is virtually impervious to wet weather conditions that would otherwise spell doom for your typical leather covered saddle - 3ttt logo markings on the sides have almost disappeared - definite "lean to" abrasions on the left and right side rear corners, but otherwise no rips, tears, or scuffs - scratching along the alloy rails form being moved about in various post clamps over the years - decidedly NOT for your show bike, but presentable, lightweight, comfortable, and worthy of any regular "rider"] - $35.00

SEAT POST:

Selle Italia Flite Titanium - titanium alloy shaft with aluminum head - non-fluted shaft without any “limit line” - one bolt micro-adjusting clamp - 30 mm offset - 220 mm x 25.0 mm - model CT-250 ... [Used - insertion marks extend 3 1/4 inches upwards from the bottom - which leaves 140 mm of near perfect post above as measured to where your seat rails would clamp - personally, I would change out the 13 mm hex head fixing bolt in favor of a suitably sized Allen head version which would be a whole lot easier to adjust] - $25.00

SR Laprade - one piece cast 6061-T6 alloy construction - fluted shaft with “limit line” - one bolt micro-adjusting clamp - 25 mm offset - 220 mm x 25.8 mm - model CT-P5 Laprade ... [NOS / NIP … BUT there are visible scratches on the post itself - consider it a "user"] - $12.00

MISCELLANEOUS BITS:

Campagnolo - rear derailleur cable housing - Black - part number 0010118 … [NOS / NIP] - $5.00

Campagnolo - pump washer - 8 mm ID / 18 mm OD - part number 646 … [quantity 3 - NOS - provides a positive seal between your frame pump and its Campagnolo pump head] - FREE to the first persons who ask (...in conjunction with purchase of anything else from this list - limit one per person, please)

Specialites TA - water bottle cage clamps - chrome plated steel - includes mounting screws and nuts - suitable for down tube applications but NOT handlebar mounting - TA ref 15 … [NOS / NIP] - $15.00 for the pair

Specialites TA - water bottle cap - Red plastic with removable cap - TA ref 20 … [NOS - suitable for use on 1960's and 1970's vintage TA model 147, 167, or 197 bidons - quantity 10] - $3.50 each

Specialites TA - water bottle cap - Clear plastic with resealable cap - TA ref 21 … [NOS - suitable for use on 1960's and 1970's vintage TA model 200 and 202 bidons - quantity 16] - $3.50 each

Generic - rim strip - protective rubber liner - 27" x 1/2" sizing… [quantity 1 pair - NEW - perfectly suitable for use on 700c clincher rims] - FREE to the first person who asks (...in conjunction with purchase of anything else from this list)
