On another discussion forum I recently held up Dale's requirement that posters have to ID themselves fully at the end of every message as a shining example of an excellent rule that largely prevents the mis-use / abuse of said forum* - suggesting that it was one that they might usefully adopt...
*Most typically the use of personal invective / brainless humour etc.,
To this another member of that list replied that would be an infringement of UK Data Protection Laws, his human rights & his right to privacy!
I have not bothered responding to that - but my point is here we are all member's of the CR 'Club' and when we joined this private club we agreed to a number of protocols / rules - call them what you will - one being "Items (for sale) must always include a set price".
Whether or not we like it (and as it happens I personally would quite like to be able to canvas the list on opinions of the market value worth of classic bikes and parts) - them's the rules and to discuss it here just uses up bandwidth that everyone could otherwise use to discuss Bianchis and Colnagos - snore ZZZZZZZZ!
