Ah, but there was a Marcel Janssens (Bel) who was on the Peugeot team 1955-57 so maybe that explains the confusion.
By the way, am I missing something or is there no list of what machines were ridden in the TdF by the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners year to year? I sure can't find one. I find this rider and team focus on the Tour and indeed pro cycling frustrating indeed. Tell us about the damn bikes that do almost as much of the work!! How many French machines won the Tour vs. Italian? What was the last tour to have certain components i.e. the last with non aero brakes (it seems to have been 1984). Seems a natural book idea to me!
