As he mentioned the bike requires a coaster brake - so the braze on is for the the coaster brake lever...... Regards

But I'm puzzled. The frame has what appears to be a chainstay brazeon for and old style Cyclo or Simplex RD, but it's on the wrong chainstay, i.e. on the left chainstay rather than the right. Is this for something else, or did Goeland make a left-hand drive machine, which seems unlikely?
