It has come to my attention that competitorradio.com has wonderful cycling interviews. I listened to an hour interview with the amazing Mr. Greg Lemond. Just scan down to the Lemond interview and load. It is fascinating, with a lot of content on his win against Fignon, the use of time trial bars, humorous comments about the famous aero helmet, the sudden appearance of EPO in 1993, etc. I was very interested to hear how the historic average wattage of a pro cyclist was not higher than 390 with occasional accents into 420 in the 80's and before. In the 90's, suddenly average wattage was in the 420 area with recordings of 490. Lemond is so softly spoken, has wonderful retrospect and a good sense of humor too.
