Larry: This is a perfect example of ignorance as to quality and pedigree. This is (was) a Motobecane Team Champion. Considered the high end of Motobecane building and racing frame art. I have seen some beautiful frames on eBay, at a nose-bleed price to boot. Is the seat tube scrunched in the first photo? BT

I see a lot of this sort of thing, here in Portland- thoroughbreds converted to more mundane uses. I am going to start an album of these, and will post links to it, from time to time.
