I assume that, strictly speaking, they'd be off-topic, but very interesting. My Masi came with a set of Clement Selle Main that measure out pretty wide, and I liked the ride. Where did you get them? I saw such a set on 'Bay last year.

I just received a pair of Tufo D28 tubular tires. Hand crafted, of course, to pay respect one way.

The other way way is to note that they would seem to fit a need for larger,(ie 28mm tubular tires) for the tubular wheelsets some listers here have in abundance. Yes, they are nominally cyclocross (CX) tires, for marketing purposes, but the tread pattern is just a fine wood rasp pattern, for pavement. On a regular mid 70's Super Champion tubular rim, it measures 28-239 wide and 25mm high. Maximum inflation pressure is 90PSI. normal 65psi

Gentle, gentle. The pair I have has black tread and brown sidewall, yes more red than classic, but not so much as to intimate Italian road racing.

Have these Tufo tires been discussed here?
