Chuck,

I think the Timeline Special Exhibit is indeed one of the best concepts anyone has ever come up with for our vintage gatherings. By far the best way to learn and compare any brand of classic bike. My compliments to t he Chef!

I've had some questions about what the theme of this year's Velo

Rendezvous 7 is.

Well actually there is NO theme. This year there is a Colnago

Timeline Special Exhibit... last year there was a Bianchi Timeline

and the year before there was a Masi Timeline. But these are not

themes, they are Timeline Special Exhibits.

I've had a theme for the first four VRs but always had people saying,

"But I don't have an X bike so I guess I won't bring a bike...

sniff." Or, "I see someone is already bringing an X bike so I won't

bother bringing mine... sniff, sniff."

The Timeline Special Exhibit works out much better and it is truly

AMAZING to see thirty, forty or fifty bikes of the same marque

spanning decades to compare and contrast. A unique education! And

everyone brings their cool bikes because there is no theme to dictate

what they bring to the show. It's all good!!!
